In this new video message, Suzanne van Kooten and Hans Veltman update you on the latest developments surrounding the new pension scheme. They explain how the main elements from the current scheme are incorporated in the new scheme, what will change with regard to the supplementary pension scheme (Extra, Net and TOP pension), and which important communications are planned in the near future.

Early this year, the social partners (Works Council and TNO Board of Management) agreed on the new scheme and the principles underlying it. These agreements are set out in the transition plan. The TNO Pension Fund Board then laid down in the implementation plan how this transition will take place, and how accrued pension will be converted to the new pension scheme. What does it mean, what will change, and when will you receive an initial calculation of your pension in the new pension scheme? Because the target date for the transition to the new pension scheme (1 January 2026) isn’t far off.
