There are several changes to the Extra Pension Scheme and the Temporary Old Age Pension Scheme (TOP). The reason for the changes is that Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) will stop implementing these pension schemes earlier than expected. TNO Pension Fund will take over the administration of these schemes until the transition to the new pension scheme as of 1 July 2026.

The basic principles of the Extra Pension Scheme and Temporary Old Age Pension Scheme (TOP) will not change. However, there are several changes. In this way, we will facilitate proper and controlled implementation of the schemes.

Changes

1. No further contributions can be made to the Extra Pension Scheme.
2. It is no longer possible to choose your own risk profile and/or make investment choices.
3. There are additional options to start the TOP pension earlier.
4. There is a minor change to the settlement of costs and GSAM charges will end as of 1 January 2026.

Practical points for attention
Do you use the Extra Pension Scheme and/or the Temporary Old Age Pension Scheme? If so, it is a good idea to bear in mind the following points.

• As of October, you can specify whether you want to take advantage of the wider possibilities of the TOP scheme. If you indicate in October that you would like to take advantage of this option, your TOP can commence as of 1 January 2026 and will then end when you reach your state pension date.
• Until 15 November, you can still change your investment profile or investment choices of your Extra Pension Scheme and/or TOP. After that, your profile will default to the defensive investment profile.
• Until November, you can still make extra contributions to the Extra Pension Scheme. After that, you will no longer be able to make contributions.
• As of 15 November, your Extra Pension Scheme and/or TOP account will be closed and no longer visible in GSAM’s portal. The account(s) will be transferred to TNO Pension Fund for you. You will regain access starting in early January 2026 and you will still be able to access various statements at GSAM.
• As of 1 January 2026, you will be able to check the status of your account at TNO Pension Fund’s ‘My Pension’. TNO Pension Fund will then take care of the investments and administration of your Extra Pension scheme and/or TOP scheme.
